This is a classic series of long-casting sinking minnows that can be used to target the mid-water and near the shore from breakwaters, rocky shores, and other similar locations.

The lure does an exceptional job of maintaining its depth at around 2m range (125SDR & 145 SDR versions) and swimming back in near horizontal posture right up until your feet.
The key to the Set Upper lies in its weight transfer system. The weight-holding mechanism HGS (HOLD GRAVITY SYSTEM PAT.) automatically “holds” and “releases” the weight repeatedly in response to changes in current and speed, causing the lure to randomly lose balance. This creates a “feed-in moment” that throws the target off guard.
